Friend,

First off, I want to thank each and every one of you who supported my campaign through our last deadline. Thanks to each of you in your own way, we cleared our third-quarter fundraising goal.

I’m heartened to know that grassroots supporters like you have consistently come through when we need it most. I know you get dozens (if not hundreds!) of emails asking for support, and I want you to know that your investment continues to allow a trusted, local voice to go to bat for us.

That’s what makes meeting our quarterly fundraising goals even more critical. Basically, without your backing, we wouldn’t be here, with the privilege of fighting for you. And thanks to you, we know we have the grassroots energy to hold IL-17 and help allies flip Congress – something painfully clear that we need to do.

The GOP is willingly hurting the American people today and we have to push back against Donald Trump in Illinois and around the country. I’ll never back down and I am glad you’re with me in this fight.
