If you live in Mississippi, you know this shutdown is hugely affecting our state, and Cindy Hyde-Smith helped to make it happen.

Families, hospitals, and access to healthcare are already strained, and now this shutdown is going to drive up the struggles Mississippians face exponentially:

- Federal workers won’t get paid.
- Seniors who rely on telehealth are going to be cut off.
- People on the Affordable Care Act will have to deal with costs skyrocketing by 75%.
- Rural hospitals that rely on federal funding will lose the support they need, which means they can’t perform life-saving services for those in need.
