MAGA just launched a brutal political power grab reminiscent of a Game of Thrones plot. 

Pennsylvania’s Supreme Court retention races are usually sleepy affairs. Rare elections that happen only once every 10 years, Justices up for retention hardly ever lose, and both Democrats and Republicans have strayed from spending big in these elections. 

But this November’s PA Supreme Court retention race is different. Lulled into a false sense of safety assuming that the 3 Democrats on PA’s Supreme Court up for retention would face no danger, Democrats let their guard down—unaware that MAGA was plotting a sinister “Red Wedding” style ambush behind their backs:

In the dead of the night, billionaires under MAGA’s banner launched a full out assault, spending millions of dollars in advertisements to convince PA voters to boot the Democratic justices off the court.

It’s all part of Trump’s plot to consolidate power and name himself king. 

If Trump eliminates the three Democrats off of PA’s Supreme Court, he can install puppets loyal to him on the court responsible for overseeing elections in the most crucial swing state in America. This would allow him to rig the upcoming ‘26 and ‘28 elections—suppressing Democrat votes, decreeing mail-in ballots illegal, and even prevent Democrats from appearing on ballots altogether.

Having heard rumor of this plot from our “little birds” in the capital, Defend Our Courts has been rallying Democrats from across the nation to join in this battle since early summer. Having since raised over 2 million dollars, we are one of the most powerful Democrat-aligned forces in this election.

But we need reinforcements from across the realm, MAGA’s numbers are overwhelming and we can’t hold out for much longer. If the election were held today, MAGA would win. But with 32 days left until the election, there is still hope we can turn the tide.
