Diddy Begs for Mercy

Sean “Diddy” Combs released an apology letter
<[link removed]>
on Thursday, begging his case’s judge for a light sentence after the court
convicted him on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.

“Today, I humbly ask you for another chance — another chance to be a better
father, another chance to be a better son, another chance to be a better leader
in my community, and another chance to live a better life,” the note reads. He
also apologized to his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, whom cameras caught him
beating the living daylights out of in a California hotel in 2016.

“The scene and images of me assaulting Cassie play over and over in my head
daily,” Diddy said. “I literally lost my mind. I was dead wrong for putting my
hands on the woman that I loved. I’m sorry for that and always will be.”

Combs will receive his sentence today. It could be up to 20 years. Read more

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Harvard Hires Drag Queen Named “LaWhore Vagistan” as
Visiting Professor

Harvard charges $86,926 for a year of school, room, and board. Given that
mind-bogglingly high rate, you’d think the university’s students would only
receive instruction from the world’s most distinguished, accomplished, and
studious academic minds. People like Robert Oppenheimer or Alan Turing. Maybe
even Albert Einstein.

You know what parents shelling out fortunes for their kids to attend the
elite Ivy League institution probably don’t expect? Classes taught by drag
queens. But they’re getting at least one.

Harvard recently hired a visiting professor who goes by “LaWhore Vagistan
<[link removed]>” to teach in its Women,
Gender, and Sexuality department. LaWhore reportedly instructs courses on
“Queer Ethnography,” which centers around “gay neighborhoods, trans raves, sex
work, and lesbian parties,” and “Drag, Race, and Desire.”

You may be wondering where the professor got such a spicy nickname. She
explained in a2015 interview
<[link removed]>
. She chose “LaWhore” because, in her words, she’s “a bit of a whore,” and
“Vagistan” because she sees her home subcontinent of India as “one, big,
beautiful Vag … istan.” How inspiring.Read more

America Is in an “Armed Conflict” with Drug Cartels

America’s military ambitions can be hard to track.

We’re committing huge resources to fighting Russia
<[link removed]>
, are constantly getting involved in Israel’s messes, appear open to deploying
troops to Greenland, and now, according to President Trump, are in a
“non-international armed conflict” with the drug cartels.

The White House made that declaration in a memorandum to Congress on
Thursday, tying recent airstrikes in the Caribbean to Trump’s “responsibility
to protect Americans and United States interests.” The letter justified the
administration’s use of immediate lethal force against suspected drug
traffickers rather than intercepting their vessels and pursuing due process.

“The United States has now reached a critical point where we must use force
in self-defense and defense of others against the ongoing attacks by these
designated terrorist organizations,” it reads.

The Pentagon deployed thousands of troops and several naval warships off the
coast of Latin America in August.Read more

FDA Approves New Abortion Pill

The Food and Drug Administration approved a new version of the abortion pill
mifepristone on Thursday, setting the stage for a potential spike in terminated
pregnancies.

The move permits telehealth company Evita Solutions to produce the deadly
drug and marks its first approval since the Clinton administration greenlit the
original version in 2000. Since then, mifepristone, along with the accompanying
pill misoprostol, has become America’s most common abortion method.
Approximately 63% of all abortions in 2023 involved their use.

Many anti-baby-killing conservatives expressed outrage over the decision,
includingJosh Hawley <[link removed]>, who
called it “shocking” and chastised the pill as “dangerous and even deadly for
the mother. And of course 100% lethal to the child.” A recently published
Ethics and Public Policy Center review found that nearly 11% of women who take
the drug experience possibly life-threatening complications within 45 days.

RFK Jr <[link removed]>. also chimed in,
writing that the FDA only approved the pill “because federal law requires
approval when an application proves the generic is identical to the brand-name
drug.”Read more

TikTok’s U.S. Owner Vetted Marco Rubio for Loyalty to Israel

Wouldn’t it be strange if political megadonors required their candidates to
swear loyalty to Nepal? Or Singapore? Bangladesh, Chile, or Luxembourg? Doing
so would betray the idea thatAmerica’s leaders are supposed to serve the
American people.

So why is it okay for them to demand politicians pledge allegiance to Israel?
The practice is stunningly common. Take billionaire Larry Ellison and Secretary
of State Marco Rubio.

Newly released 2015 emails reveal that Ellison vetted Rubio for his fealty
toward Israel during the then-senator's quest for the 2016 Republican
nomination, probing whether the candidate would be obediently loyal to the
Netanyahu government before deciding if he deserved support.

Ellison hosted a fundraiser for Rubio months later and pumped $5 million into
a super PAC that supported his candidacy throughout the campaign. We guess he
passed the test.Read more

BERNIE SANDERS: Trump Presidency Is America’s Worst Crisis “Since the Civil
War”

We try not to be too hard on Bernie Sanders. Yes, many of his ideas are
insane, but he appears to be one of Washington’s few politicians who earnestly
believes what he says. It’s refreshing, in a way.

That said, the Vermont senator tends to go off the deep end. He did so on
Thursday, blasting the Trump presidency as “the worst crisis in America
literally since the Civil War.”

“We are living in an unprecedentedly dangerous moment, possibly the worst
crisis in America literally since the Civil War,” he said on MSNBC. “You have a
president who is acting unconstitutionally and illegally… who is a
megalomaniac, who wants more and more power for himself and his oligarchic
friends. I want everybody to understand that.”

For the sake of this argument, let’s say everything Sanders claimed was true,
and Trump really is a megalomaniac, a threat to the Constitution, and all the
rest of the charges. Would that really be worse than anything America has
endured since the Civil War? More of a catastrophe than Pearl Harbor, the Cold
War, the Iranian hostage crisis, or 9/11? Of course not. The senator claiming
otherwise makes him seem cartoonish and hurts his own cause.Read more

Florida County Approves “Charlie Kirk Memorial Highway”

Ron DeSantis announced the designation of a section of Lake County roadway as
the “Charlie Kirk Memorial Highway” on Thursday, marking the first local
government decision to memorialize the Turning Point USA founder after his
assassination. The vote was unanimous.

The highway will not be the Sunshine State’s only tribute. City officials in
Melbourne are considering renaming a strip of road “Charlie Kirk Lane,” and New
College of Florida has unveiled plans to erect a statue of Kirk on its campus.
On a national level, GOP congressmen are pursuing legislation to mint silver
dollar coins bearing the slain father’s image, and the Senate passed a
resolution establishing October 14, Charlie’s birthday, as a National Day of
Remembrance.Read more

Students at Biden’s Alma Mater Praise Charlie Kirk’s Killer

The University of Delaware’s student TV network recently included a “Special
Thanks” to “Charlie Kirk’s Killer” in the closing credits for one of its shows.

Upset students reportedly complained about the line quickly after the video’s
release, prompting its swift deletion, modification, and republication. The
school’s Department of Communication, which oversees the network, is said to
have wanted the issue to “go away quietly.”

As cruel as heralding the murderer of a young father is, college kids do
stupid things all the time. The reason this story matters isn’t because a bunch
of 20-year-olds acted like jerks on TV. It’s because school faculty, who are
supported by taxpayers, allowed them to do it. The State of Delaware
contributes millions of dollars to UD each year. The everyday citizens whose
paychecks those funds come from deserve better.Read more

Divers Discover $1 Million Worth of Treasure at 310-Year-Old Shipwreck

A Florida diving crew recently discovered over 1,000 silver and gold coins in
the remains of an 18th-century shipwreck. The haul is worth over $1,000,000.

The riches come from the 1715 Treasure Fleet shipwreck, a vessel that fell
victim to a hurricane as it attempted to travel from the New World back to
Spain. The coins came from the Spanish colonies of Mexico, Peru, and Bolivia,
and many still bear visible dates and mint marks.

You’d probably think the divers would be free to keep the treasure for
themselves. They found it, after all. But no. Under Florida law, any “treasure
trove” or other historic artifacts “abandoned” in government waters belong to
the state, meaning 20% must be forfeited upon discovery. The remaining assets
will be split equally among the salvage company’s owners and its subcontractors.

It’s Never Enough

“You'd be a much happier person if you showed a little gratitude.”

That was JD Vance’s message <[link removed]>
to fired MSNBC race lady Joy Reid on Thursday after the multi-millionaire
complained about America not providing her enough “opportunity.” Reid
reportedly raked in seven figures during her years on cable news. That sounds
like a pretty goodopportunity to us.

The former primetime host isn’t the only person, or group of people, who
should hear the vice president’s advice. Neocons’ reactions to Donald Trump
granting Qatar aNATO-style security guarantee
<[link removed]>
showed that they, too, could use some gratitude.

War hawks like Mark Levin aren’t angry at the president’s decision because
they think it’s bad for the United States. Our country is barely their concern.
The reason they’re upset is that the pledge could hurt the nation theyactually
care about: Israel. Benjamin Netanyahu ordered an attack on Qatar’s capital
city last month, and he’d love to be able to do so again. America’s new
commitment serves as a deterrent that even he is unlikely to ignore. So he and
his allies are very, very upset.

Before going on their usual rampages about how anyone who opposes their views
is antisemitic, these foreign shills should take a step back and recognize the
enormous amount of charity the U.S.and Qatar have done for their cause. The
Qataris allow America to have its largest Middle Eastern military base on their
home soil for the main purpose of protecting Israel, have subjected themselves
to multiple attacks because of Israel in the past four months alone, and yet
have never sent rockets flying toward Tel Aviv in return. Instead, the
country’s prime minister allowed Benjamin Netanyahu, the man responsible for
the death of one of his government officials, off the hook with a disingenuous
telephone apology. That’s pretty gracious.

Do the Levins of the world appreciate those facts? Do they even acknowledge
them? Of course not. Because the overwhelming philanthropy they receive is
never enough.

We see this time and time again. Donald Trump did the Israeli government an
enormous favor by bombing Iran in June. A successful Iranian nuclear program
would have threatened Israel, not the United States, but the president
selflessly puthis country at risk to shut it down anyway.

How did the neocons reward him? Did they express profuse gratitude for his
dumping ofAmerican resources into the Israeli agenda? Maybe for a moment, but
it didn’t last. Within days, these lunatics went back to criticizing Trump for
not doing enough to support Israel. They punched air as he blocked Netanyahu
from violating the ceasefire he’d just negotiated, and immediately began
plotting their next scheme to get the administration to do their dirty work for
them. They always want more.

Joe Biden encountered the same jarring entitlement. The former president
oversaw the donation of tens of billions of taxpayer dollars to Israel during
his time in office, repeatedly applauding as Congress sent the American
people’s money to the Israelis. His generosity was remarkable, and he never
asked for anything in exchange.

Were the recipients grateful? Of course not. Israel’s national security
minister <[link removed]> accused Biden
of being a Hamas ally. Its parliamentarian
<[link removed]> said his policies
“jeopardize[d] Israel.” American lawmakers like Tom Cotton and Brian Mast
blasted him forappeasing terrorism. It’s hard to think of anything more
ridiculous. Gifting a country $30 billion equates to siding with its enemies?
Please spare us.

Now let’s get to the big one. Fighting Israel’s wars has been America’s most
consequential favor for its “special ally.” Iraq is the clearest example. That
invasion’s goal of ousting Saddam Hussein did not exist in the name of U.S.
interests; neocons created it at the behest of Netanyahu. Israel wanted Saddam
gone because they thought it would be bestfor them, and they fed the Bush
administration lies about Iraqi weapons of mass destruction to convince the
president to start the war on their behalf. Tragically, he took the bait, and
America lost thousands of troops, wasted trillions of dollars, and further
destabilized the Middle East.

Once again, how did the Israeli government respond? Did they marvel at the
sacrifices the U.S. made in their name? Did they kiss the ground our leaders
and taxpayers walked on? We’re sure you’re noticing the theme. Of course they
didn’t. Instead, they pivoted to luring America intoeven more wars, next in
Libya, Syria, and Iran. We bend over backwards for them, they do nothing for
us, and the cycle repeats. Over and over and over.

The good news is that the public is waking up to how obscenely parasitic this
relationship is.Poll
<[link removed]>
afterpoll <[link removed]>
shows a majority of Americans recognizing that support for Israel does not
serve U.S. national interests. The percentage of people on board with the
status quo has plummeted by 20 points in the last two years alone, according to
Quinnipiac University. That trend will likely continue.

Why? Because the country woke up one day and decided to turn into Nazis, like
Netanyahu says? Of course not. Taxpayers are sick of a foreign country treating
them like lapdogs. It’s demeaning, insulting, and entirely out of line. Israel
thinks America’s support isn’t enough, but they’re wrong. It’s been more than
enough. It’s time for them to fight their own wars.

This Day in History

October 3, 1863: Thanksgiving becomes a national holiday. Abraham Lincoln
announced that the U.S. would celebrate an official Thanksgiving holiday on
November 26th of that year, when expressing gratitude for a pivotal Union Army
victory at Gettysburg. The declaration designated the holiday as the final
Thursday of November, and harkened back to when George Washington called for an
official celebratory “day of public thanksgiving and prayer” during his first
term. Before Lincoln’s announcement, the government believed such a holiday
would be inappropriate in a nation based in part on the separation of church
and state.
