CO GOP THROWS OFF CHAINS OF DEMOCRAT TYRANNY AND VOTES TO OPT OUT OF THE DISASTROUS SEMI-OPEN PRIMARY. In April of 2024 some 2,000 plus members of the Colorado Convention and Assembly voted to opt out of the semi open primary forced on us by Democrats in 2016. Saturday, the State Central Committee carried out its ministerial duty and certified that opt out vote by more than 60% . The SCC also voted to direct Arapco GOP Chair John Temple to notify the Secretary of State we were opting out, which he did. You’d think the self-proclaimed “unity” Chair would do her duty and implement the will of the opt out majority of the Party. Nope. Grassroots warrior Cody LeBlanc and dozens of patriots disenfranchised by Horn’s refusal to accept the SCC vote have filed a motion asking the Court to direct Horn to immediately carry out her ministerial duty regarding the opt out vote. Bizarrely, Horn’s personal attorney who was fired by the SCC continues to pretend he still represents the Party and is twisting the facts in an attempt to derail the lawsuit.
