Biggest abortion clinic in America closes
Pro-lifers across the US celebrated last Tuesday as the largest abortion clinic in the whole of North America, known as Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast, closed its doors for the last time.
The clinic, based in the Houston-area, was responsible for the deaths of 110,000+ unborn babies lost to abortion in the building since it opened in May 2010.
On Tuesday, Houston Coalition for Life hosted a Roses of Remembrance Vigil to commemorate the lives lost in the clinic and to celebrate its closing.
Melaney Linton, president of Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast, said “having to reduce PPGC’s future footprint in Houston is heartbreaking.” Pro-lifers, however, described the closure as “massive news for the pro-life movement” and said it shows the direction that Planned Parenthood is going, which is down.
More than 35 Planned Parenthood abortion businesses are reported to have closed so far this year across the United States. |
