While the U.S. government is facing a shutdown over the budget
crisis, in due fact to the problem that both the Republican and
Democratic side are completely bankrupt in terms of actual solutions
of the physical-economic breakdown in the country, the Global South,
or the “Global Majority,” is taking matters into their own hands.
Helga Zepp-LaRouche, in her webcast on Oct. 1, began by emphasizing
that an entirely new world order is taking shape, where the
geopolitical, neocolonial system that brought about the economic
destruction of many of these nations in the Global South, is being
replaced by a new world economic order. In that way, she said, the
formerly colonized nations have the capability to “to no longer regard
themselves and be forced to be raw material producing countries, but
to develop the value chain in their own countries, and in that way,
starting the serious road to their own development and
industrialization.... I think that that is a reality which will not go
away.”
A global strategy of tension is being deployed to prevent this new
system from emerging. In Copenhagen, the twenty-six heads of the
corpse known as the EU are meeting to discuss how they can keep the
war going in Ukraine to achieve the impossible task of inflicting a
strategic defeat on Russia. This hysteria has become so unhinged, that
the former Defense Minister of U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson (who
sabotaged a very viable peace deal between Ukraine and Russia in the
Spring of 2022) has suggested that the West “choke the life out of
Crimea” and make it “uninhabitable.”
Meanwhile, in Southwest Asia, much attention is being given to
Trump’s so-called comprehensive peace plan worked out between him and
the war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu in the White House this week. As
of now, there has been no response from Hamas, whom Trump threatened
with letting Israel “finish the job” in Gaza if they had not responded
to the proposal within the next few days.
It’s unlikely that such a plan will succeed, especially given
Perfidious Albion’s role in the form of Tony Blair, the former British
Prime Minister who has brought much destruction to the region in the
beginning of the century. However, what’s needed is an active
intervention in the region to perform an economic miracle, as Lyndon
LaRouche insisted must be done as early as 1975, when he proposed the
Oasis Plan. Only if there is comprehensive change, through economic
development, can peace be given real meaning. The entire world must be
brought together in a new paradigm, which embraces the creative
potential of all human beings, and promotes win-win cooperation in the
form of economic development.
Tonight’s program will feature a discussion of the role of the
Oasis Plan today, and what we can do bring it about. Jason Ross,
LaRouche Organization science advisor and EIR correspondent will
join.
