John,

When Jeff Van Drew had the support of the Democratic Party establishment
in 2018, progressive activists in New Jersey tried to make clear that he
was a Democrat in name only.

Van Drew had voted against a living wage and marriage equality. He was
even proud of his A rating from the NRA. Yet in the 2018 wave election,
Democrats wasted winning this flip district on Van Drew anyway, and he
went on to vote against impeachment, held a press conference in the Rose
Garden with Trump to brag about it, and then changed his party to
Republican.

With friends like these...

It's critical this mistake doesn't happen again. The progressive must win
the Democratic primary and the chance to defeat turncoat Jeff Van Drew in
November.

[ [link removed] ]Will Cunningham, a young, openly gay, Black man who was homeless as a
teenager yet went on to become a lawyer with a degree from Brown IS the
progressive in the primary -- and he's surging right now. Split a

Jeff Van Drew stole this seat for the Republican Party. Will Cunningham is
going to win it back.

Raised by a single mother who worked an hourly wage factory job, Will
understands the struggles of what it is like to live paycheck-to-paycheck.

Growing up, Will and his family spent months at a time without heat, hot
water, and electricity. They lived for years out of a motel while Will
went to High School. These experiences grounded him in reality, but didn't
defeat him. Instead, he's a bold and fearless leader who is ready to take
on the big changes in government we need to move America forward.

Will knows what happens firsthand when healthcare is not a right, when
food isn't on the table, and what it feels like to not have a roof over
your head. That's why he supports Medicare for All, the Green New Deal,
and a living wage and it's why he'll fight for progressives in Congress
from day one.

[ [link removed] ]Will has never forgotten where he came from and now he is working hard
to make sure that no family experiences the hardships he faced as a child.
To win, Will needs the grassroots support of progressives, like you, who
believe in a future that brings power back to the masses. Donate now:
