John, before we get into what we’re all thinking about, I just wanted to say thank you for helping my Leadership PAC, A Woman’s Place, with our public end-of-quarter filing. Thanks to supporters like you, we can cut checks to candidates across PA that will stand with me against Trump’s chaos.
Now, let’s get into it. As I’m sure you’re well aware — the Republicans have led our government into a shutdown on Oct 1. They would rather protect their billionaire donors over the healthcare of millions of Americans. And they would rather shut down the government than pass a spending bill that makes our nation stronger and our families more secure.
They are attempting to blame this shutdown on the Democrats, but the truth is: they control the House, Senate, and White House. All. Three. Branches. Of. Government.
Make no mistake: this is a Republican shutdown. Full stop.
Democrats showed up ready to negotiate for the American people, but House Republicans didn’t even bother to show up to work this week.

It’s never been clearer: we must retake the House majority and stop Trump’s corruption and destruction. AWP is here to put more Dems next to me on the side of the floor full of leaders ready to fight for the people.
If you agree, instantly add your name to let us know that you’re with us >>
Thanks again for everything. And we’ll continue to keep you updated.

The contemporary political landscape is filled with progressive women who are running for elected office up and down the ballot, who possess a true vision of equality for this country's future. A Woman's Place seeks to support their efforts by providing financial resources to embrace this tongue-in-cheek idea of what a woman's place should be.
We help put women where they belong: positions of political leadership throughout all levels of government.
Not authorized by any candidate or candidate committee. All contributions are made to support A Woman's Place PAC's general mission and are not designated for any specific activity.
