Thanks to a surge of grassroots support from folks coming from all walks of life, we beat our end-of-quarter fundraising goal! All with an average donation of just $12.13.

From the very beginning, one thing has been critically important to us: Making sure this was a movement for everyone. In Congress, I’m not fighting for powerful special interests. I’m fighting to improve the life of every working person in this nation.

A huge part of what makes that possible is the place where our power comes from. The grassroots foundation of this movement is what has allowed us to fight hard for Medicare for All, powerful action on climate, ending our endless wars, real criminal justice reform, reinvigorating rural America, and so much more.

It is an honor to be entrusted with the support of so many people who believe in a better America – who believe that we can have an economy that works for all, who believe that we can expand job opportunities to every person in this country, and who believe that we can finally end our endless foreign wars.

Don’t get me wrong: Those goals will be difficult. It’s going to take a whole lot of work from all of us. But if there’s anything that I’ve learned in these last two terms, it’s that nothing is impossible if you can build a movement for change.
