➤➤ NEW: Trump’s DOJ sues SIX MORE states demanding voter registration data

John, we have some MAJOR developments on the Department of Justice’s assault on our democracy.

Six more states — California, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, New Hampshire, and Pennsylvania — have been targeted to force them to turn over full voter‑registration data, including private, sensitive information about every registered voter.

More than 30 states have received requests for information, and now they’re suing six of them to force them into complying.

In states across the country, officials are being threatened if they refuse to comply. Maine and Oregon have already started fighting back, standing by their laws and the privacy of their voters. And now, more states are being pulled into the crosshairs.

This is part of an effort to bolster President Trump’s unsubstantiated claims of voter fraud. It’s a dangerous and authoritarian move.

That’s where Democratic Secretaries of State come in. These are the officials who have long been protective of sensitive voter data., refusing to hand over data without proper safeguards, defending privacy laws, and preserving the integrity of their states’ elections. Without them, DOJ’s overreach would be unchecked.

We cannot let the Trump administration erase the boundary between state election systems and federal power. We’ve said it before, but it bears repeating: we can’t win this fight without resources, legal teams, and public pressure in every state.

Will you chip in $3 or whatever you can today to support the Democratic Secretaries of State Legal Fund, so we can stand firm in defense of voter privacy and democracy?
