While politicians in Washington play political games, Jared is working every day to deliver real results for the people of Maine’s Second District.

Here’s what he’s been up to this past month:

PREVENTING A GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWN

Jared was one of 3 members of Maine’s delegation to vote to keep the government open. He believes federal workers and members of the military should receive their paychecks on time and we should not hand more power to the executive branch during a shutdown. He opposes the GOP’s Medicaid cuts and is working on a bipartisan basis to chart a legislative path forward on extending the ACA tax credits before the cuts take effect.

EXTENDING HEALTHCARE SUBSIDIES

Jared introduced a bipartisan bill to extend the Affordable Care Act tax credits through 2026 and protect Mainers from skyrocketing premiums next year. He’s committed to making healthcare more affordable for everyone.

ROBOTICS AND ENGINEERING

Jared joined the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the University of Maine’s new robotics and automation training facility — funded with $7 million he helped secure. This center will prepare Mainers for good-paying jobs in defense, aerospace, and advanced manufacturing.

EARLY ENDORSEMENTS

Jared has already earned the support of dozens of leaders across Maine who agree he’s the right choice to continue fighting for Maine’s second district. The 2026 election will be extremely close — and together, we can send Paul LePage back to Florida.
