Justice Democrats

John,

While the Israeli government continues to block aid from entering Gaza, the Global Sumud Flotilla courageously tried to break through.

Brave, everyday people from across the world are having to do what their governments refuse to: deliver food, clean water, baby formula, medical supplies, and other aid to millions of Palestinians being starved and bombed.

Justice Democrats like Rep. Rashida Tlaib directed a letter to Secretary of State Marco Rubio earlier this week, calling for the safe passage of this flotilla and for an end to the blockade and genocide.

In the last 24 hours, more than 500 people on 44 boats and ships attempted to reach the shores of Gaza — all but one were stopped by Israel’s blockade. For the first time since 2009, a single ship reached Palestinian waters, but reports indicate it’s unlikely they made it to shore.

Since intercepting the rest of the flotilla, the Israeli military has kidnapped at least 450 humanitarians, including parliamentarians, lawyers, and everyday people standing up to Israel’s genocide, illegally detaining them.

We need to make ourselves loud and clear to those in power in Washington: No more aid to Israel. No more funding genocide. Free these humanitarians.

Demand that your member of Congress call on Israel to stop blocking humanitarian aid to Gaza and release the flotilla activists NOW!
