During times of division and uncertainty we often seek a place of peace and resilience. For generations, redwood forests have offered a way to come together.
Whether walking beneath their towering canopies or loving them from afar, people find common ground in the redwoods. The trees remind us that resilience is not just about individual strength, but connection. Just as redwoods draw strength from one another underground, our communities thrive when we lift each other up, stand together in the face of adversity, and remain rooted in a shared purpose: redwood conservation and access for all.

Everyone deserves easy access to the healing power of nature. That’s why I’ve dedicated my work to making experiences with the redwoods more inclusive, ensuring that historically under-resourced communities are welcomed, represented, and empowered. Through programs like Redwood Rides, we’ve helped make that happen by offering free transportation to the parks. Since 2022, we’ve provided 30 rides per year for underrepresented groups to visit the redwoods.
These forests have a unique power to bring people together, and it’s our responsibility to safeguard that for generations to come.
