Forward Stands for Solutions, Not Stalemates!

Forward believes our federal budget and spending bills should be produced through regular order with debate and compromise, not by holding the country hostage. With Forward on the ballot, voters can demand leaders who do their jobs, put people first, and make government work again.

Here is our official statement on this shutdown.

This week, we also issued an endorsement of Danny Ceisler for Bucks County Sheriff.  Danny is a Bronze Star recipient who served as a U.S. Army intelligence officer, deployed to Afghanistan, and later worked on the COVID Crisis Management Team at the Pentagon. He earned his law degree from Temple University and has served as both a prosecutor and a civil attorney for victims of crime, police officers, and veterans. He also co-owns a local pub and brewery, volunteers as a firefighter, and has worked as a senior public safety official in Gov. Josh Shapiro’s administration. In addition, Forward issued this statement <[link removed]>because we believe public discourse should be based on respect, decency, and accountability – not personal attacks or dehumanizing rhetoric. All Forward candidates commit to a pledge to avoid personal threats or vilification, reinforcing our value of principled political behavior. By speaking out, we underscore that real reform starts with how we treat one another and that toxic rhetoric has no place in politics and government.
