Johh,
On Tuesday, my Democratic colleagues and I were in Washington, D.C., ready to negotiate to keep our government open and protect our constituents' healthcare. House Republicans were on vacation, and now, our government is officially shut down.
This inaction is damning, Johh. When I look across the aisle, I see a group of people so scared to stand up to Donald Trump and Mike Johnson that they will literally do nothing while the American people suffer. This is exactly why they are not fit to lead the House. Which brings me to the good news:
Earlier this week, our team faced our third end-of-quarter fundraising deadline of 2025. I'm proud to say that not only did we meet our fundraising goal, but we exceeded it. Even though the challenges we face are tough, if we keep up this momentum, I know we can win back the House and put our country back on the right track in 2026.
Since the very beginning, it has always been my mission to serve you and your families and work toward a better future for everyone. I will never let Donald Trump and his cronies silence me or squash my fight. As always, I am grateful for your support.
