Using Democrat controlled cities as training grounds for our military? Trump has gone completely mad. He is drunk with power, foaming at the mouth to use violence and repression on his political opponents. We cannot afford to give him any more power or else we may never have an election in America again.
That’s what makes the upcoming November 2025 Pennsylvania Supreme Court retention election an existential crisis for Democrats. If Trump topples the 3 Democrats on the court, he will have control of the body overseeing elections in the most important swing state in the upcoming ‘26 and ‘28 elections. Allowing him to outlaw mail-in ballots, prevent Democrat ballots from being counted, or even ban Democrats from being on ballots altogether.
And the most frightening part is that if the election were held today, Trump would win. While Democrats were asleep, MAGA billionaires like Jeffrey Yass just launched a surprise attack behind Democrats' backs—suddenly spending millions to oust the Democrats on the court.
Defend Our Courts has been warning about the coming threat for months, and we are one of the Democratic organizations in a position on the ground in PA to counter MAGA’s surprise attack and prevent Trump from seizing more power.
But with only 33 days to go, we are still being outspent 10-1 while PA is being completely blanketed with MAGA propaganda about the upcoming election. We need to do more to prevent PA from falling.
