Republicans have shut down the government and are stripping Americans of vital healthcare funding that will dramatically raise the cost of healthcare coverage for millions of working people.

Right now, Republicans are holding out in order to raise insurance premiums and healthcare costs for working people, cancel loans and disaster aid for farmers, and generally, make life harder and more expensive for all of us – all while many people are already forced to make tough decisions with their wallets.

I'm ready to pass a bipartisan budget that ensures your healthcare premiums don't skyrocket in 2026. When Republicans are ready to come back to the table and do their jobs, I'll be here.
