Rainbow trout being released statewide

Coming to a lake or pond near you! All month, Nebraska Game and Parks staff will be releasing rainbow trout at community waters statewide.

Now's the perfect time to get out, enjoy the weather and harvest a fish. Trout are especially great for beginners and kids, so bring someone new with you.

Fort Robinson makes way for new pool

A new aquatic center is coming to Fort Robinson State Park! Construction has begun on the project, which will feature a zero-entry outdoor pool, two slides and a splash pad, plus some fun Fort Robinson-themed elements. The new pool is expected to be complete in 2026, and is the latest of several recent upgrades and additions at Fort Robinson.
