Threatening criminal prosecution is a way to silence dissent

Tell Congress: The DOJ Is Not a Tool for Revenge. Send Your Message Now.

Hi John,

We certainly didn't have "defending the rights of former FBI Director James Comey" on our bingo card for 2025, but here we are.

As our CEO, Maria McFarland Sánchez-Moreno, lays out in her latest blog post, politicizing prosecutions is a way to keep YOU quiet. Regardless of what you personally think of the person being prosecuted (and lots of people have issues with Comey), when the rule of law turns into the rule of the powerful, everyone suffers.

When law enforcement becomes a tool for revenge, harassment or intimidation, every American's freedom is at risk.

Congress funds the Department of Justice and has a constitutional duty to provide oversight of it. The presumption of innocence and due process belong to everyone, even people we don't always agree with.

Tell your member of Congress TODAY that you want them to investigate the politicization and corruption at the Department of Justice
