Just yesterday, we had a political bombshell hit the news cycle here in Arizona:
Congressman David Schweikert announced he will retire from Congress and run for Governor in 2026.
Some might say, “Oh, he’s a moderate Republican.”
But his record tells a very different story.
During his time in Congress, Schweikert:
-Fell asleep to avoid voting on the “Big Beautiful Bill”
-Supported the overturning of Roe v. Wade
-Helped found the far-right Freedom Caucus
-Refused to impeach Donald Trump after the January 6th insurrection
Some call him moderate. His actions prove otherwise. He is MAGA — and he’s more than willing to hand Arizona over to Trump to do as he pleases.
We cannot let him anywhere near the Governor’s office.
