Hey John, it’s Sarah Trone Garriott, and I’m running for Congress because politics as usual isn’t working for us anymore.

If you agree with me, I hope you’ll consider chipping in to my campaign today to help me flip this toss-up seat blue and put an end to the chaos Trump and the Republican House and Senate majorities are inflicting on Iowa families.

Instead of protecting the health care that tens of thousands of Iowans rely on, my opponent, Zach Nunn, followed his Republican leaders in Washington and walked away, shutting down the government.

If Republicans let the ACA tax credits expire, premiums will double, and more than 12,000 of our neighbors here in Iowa’s third congressional district will lose their coverage. These are real consequences that Iowans will face – but instead of doing what was best for Iowa’s families, Zach Nunn let partisanship get in the way again.

Iowans deserve better.

Right now, there isn’t a single Democrat representing Iowa in Congress.
