Every hour in America, a child is shot. Gun violence silences voices. ENOUGH! calls on teens to raise their voices, take the stage, and use theater to confront America’s gun violence epidemic. On October 6th, join hundreds of people across the country for a reading of six powerful short plays by teen writers about gun violence.
This year, one of the playwrights is Wisconsinite Matias Finley. Finley writes from lived experience, turning the aftermath of a recent shooting at his own school–Abundant Life–into a searing critique of how trauma gets consumed by media. His play captures the frenzy, the misinformation, and the way communities are abandoned once the headlines fade.
