- Chapter Convention Begins November 15th! Time and Location TBD!
- Per Sac DSA's bylaws, every year the chapter will hold a local convention to discuss and vote on bylaw amendments and resolutions that set our priorities for the next year. Members in good standing are encouraged to review our chapter bylaws and submit amendments they feel would clarify our rules and make our chapter more efficient. Resolutions for campaigns related to any of our current or future committees are also welcome.

- Steering Committee Elections Begin in November too!
- In conjunction with our local convention, we will also be running our annual Steering Committee elections. Our Steering Committee is the chapter's leadership board. It consists of 9 members who meet regularly to conduct the day-to-day operations of the chapter. Positions include 2 co-chairs, 1 secretary, 1 treasurer, 1 communications director, and 4 organizers. Please consult our bylaws or the form below to learn more about these positions.
- If you have any questions about the Steering Committee's jobs, please reach out to the Sac DSA email at any time.

- All nominations are due by November 1st.

- Join the Mutual Aid Committee for our next Mutual Aid Monday meal & supply distribution! We meet at the corner of 10th & I St. at Cesar Chavez Park. Come find out what we're all about and how you can get involved! We have a variety of ways for you to help out in person.

- We have multiple workshops this month hosted by our wonderful committees
- Our Racial Solidarity Committee will host a CPR training course as they ramp up their effort to start a child-watch program for the chapter.

- No Kings Protest - October 18th, West Steps of the CA Capitol Building, 10 AM
- Some comrades will be with the community and make their voices heard to once again remind the fascist administration of Donald Trump that Sacramento will not bend the knee to him. Trump is constantly escalating his attacks on free speech but Sacramento will not be silenced. NO KINGS! NO MASTERS! SOLIDARITY FOREVER!
