It's blatant what they're doing.

Donald Trump shut down the government in order to jumpstart DOGE 2.0.

Virginians were already facing the impacts of mass firings, reckless tariffs, and an attack on our healthcare. Now, instead of working with Congress to avert a shutdown, the President allowed funding to expire as a pretext to lay off more Virginians and disrupt more services we rely on.

Once again, my opponent Winsome Earle-Sears is refusing to stand up for our workforce and our economy — even though she's had multiple opportunities to do so.

I'll say this as clearly as I can: The President must end this shutdown now and stop punishing Virginia workers.
