Friend, it’s Tammy. I’m reaching out directly because this is so important.

We’re facing two major deadlines tonight:

Our FEC quarterly fundraising deadline.
The deadline for Republicans to keep the government open.
Talk about a double header.

Let me tell you about what we’re up against in Washington right now.

This rubber-stamp Republican majority in Congress is bending over backwards to jam through Trump’s extreme agenda.

Whether it’s cutting Medicare, food assistance or other life-saving programs, they’re putting Trump’s wishes over the best interests of middle class families.

All while GOP megadonors are pouring millions into Republicans’ campaign coffers. All while Trump threatens to stiff-arm anyone who doesn’t fall in line.

It’s shameful, and it has to stop.

That’s why I’m with the Democrats blocking Republicans’ spending bill tonight. I refuse to let the democracy I fought so hard to defend be degraded. We have to draw the line here.

Since Trump took office, Republicans have made it clear that they have no interest in bipartisanship—even when it will help the American people. It’s been one avoidable crisis after another.

No more. We cannot negotiate away our values to keep the government open. We cannot be complicit in their cruel agenda.

Friend, this is a big risk. We need lots and lots of Democrats across the country to show their support when we’re making a move as big as this one. I’m hoping you’ll be one of them.

So with the clock ticking on these two major deadlines, I’m asking directly:

Please make a donation to support my work in the U.S. Senate. I wouldn’t ask if it wasn’t so important. In critical moments like these, we’re stronger when we work together.

Thank you for understanding the importance of this moment.

Tammy
