The victims of this shutdown will be the American people. However, the blame lies with the cowards in Washington.

We launched No Surrender with one principle: We will only support fighters. And right now, too many elected Democrats are demonstrating they’re not up to the task of this moment.

Republicans control the White House, the Senate, and the House. This is THEIR shutdown. Yet too many elected Democrats are asleep at the wheel. They’re not making the case on TV, on Podcasts, on YouTube. Too many of them are nowhere to be found while Republicans lie without shame to the American people every single day.

Donald Trump is a wannabe dictator, a threat to democracy, and a clear danger to our families’ health care. We need Democrats who not only understand that, but also act like it every day.

Senator Chuck Schumer said it himself: "This is the path to a dictatorship." Yet, he and Leader Hakeem Jeffries still seem surprised when the tyrant acts like a tyrant.

We cannot afford timid politicians who are afraid to clearly stand up to Trump as he grabs for more power, turns the military into a political weapon, builds a $175 billion personal paramilitary force masquerading as ICE agents, and cuts off health care for millions of Americans.

They’re good people, but they’re not up to the task in front of them.

No Surrender will be doing direct candidate support in Q4. We WILL NOT just fund candidates with a 'D' next to their name. We will fund the candidates who demonstrate they have the guts, the strength, and the rage to do what is necessary to degrade and destroy Trumpism.

Our mission is to support the fighters. However, that requires resources to identify them, elevate them, and provide them with the platform they need to win the upcoming battles against liars and authoritarians.

This is a fundamental battle for our democracy, and we will need every single dollar to ensure our next slate of candidates are true, iron-spined fighters.
