Did you know that guaranteed entry into the presidential debates depends on the number of grassroots donors a candidate has?

Jack,

Securing a spot at the September presidential debate depends on the number of grassroots donors a candidate has—no matter how much each donor gives.

The deadline for campaigns to submit their donor totals to the DNC is August 28, just five days from now.

Kirsten Gillibrand is my U.S. senator, and she is the all-time champion in getting the highest share of votes in my home state of New York. She is also a tireless, fierce fighter for reproductive freedom, and the only one on the debate stage with a comprehensive plan for publicly funded elections. Getting big money out of politics would change everything.

It's crucial that she becomes known to the rest of the country through these debates. At the last debate, Kirsten used her time to speak out about white privilege, address the importance of tackling climate change, and to defend the essential right of women to work outside the home.

We all need more of that in the next debate!

So please: Make a donation to Kirsten's campaign today and launch her to the debate stage before the DNC's deadline!
