Team — Donald Trump announced yesterday that he was withholding billions of dollars in funding for the Gateway Project to build a new rail tunnel under the Hudson River, an absolutely critical project for New Jersey’s economy and commuters.

I spent years working to secure Gateway Tunnel funding in Congress because I know how important it is for our families and our region. As governor, I will fight Trump’s corrupt attack on New Jersey tooth and nail — and take his administration to court to get that funding back if I have to.

But my opponent, Jack Ciattarelli? He’s in lockstep with Trump, even on this. He’s even promised that he’d NEVER sue the Trump administration. It’s shameful, it’s cowardly, and I called him out for it last night on MSNBC.

The fact is, we have to expect more attacks from the Trump administration on New Jersey families in the coming years. We need a governor who will stand up for our state, not one who bends the knee.

But we’ve only got a few weeks left and THOUSANDS of voters we still need to reach if we’re going to come out ahead. Please pitch in today to help me win this toss-up race and keep New Jersey blue.
