An aerial shot of a fall forest and two wind turbines with text

John, over the past nine months, the Trump administration has taken over 150 dangerous environmental actions, rolling back clean air protections, deleting mentions of climate change, defunding science, firing experts and propping up fossil fuels at the expense of people’s health and safety.

Our teams are working tirelessly to address these threats and more. But we need resources to tackle the ongoing challenges, both in the short-term and as legal battles continue. By becoming an EDF Eco Partner with a monthly gift, you’ll make the biggest impact in this fight.

This Fall Membership Month, we’re aiming to welcome 150 new monthly supporters. When you start a monthly gift this October, the Robert W. Wilson Charitable Trust will match your support 100% for the next 12 months.

As an Eco Partner, you’ll be helping:

arrow bullet Defend the science-backed determination that climate pollution endangers public health. Repealing the Endangerment Finding would mean more harmful air pollution that drives deadly and costly extreme weather and causes serious harm to human health. EDF is vigorously opposing the proposed repeal of this fact-based finding.

arrow bullet Protect limits on power plant pollution that save thousands of lives and billions of dollars in avoidable health care expenses. EDF is opposing a proposed rollback that would allow power plants to discharge potentially unlimited amounts of climate pollution into our atmosphere.

arrow bullet Preserve mercury and arsenic limits to protect our communities from toxic pollutants that are associated with cancers and brain damage in young children. EDF is in court opposing unlawful free passes to pollute that would allow power plants to sidestep these critical protections.

arrow bullet Support the 2024 EPA methane rule that requires the oil and gas industry to cut harmful pollution and reduce wasted energy from oil and gas leaks, venting and flaring. EDF is going to court to challenge delaying this critical rule — an action the administration took with no prior opportunity for public input.

To hold our leaders accountable, we rely on the steady support of passionate and committed people like you, John. Please start a monthly gift today and double your impact for a year.

Our Eco Partners enjoy members-only, behind-the-scenes access each quarter, featuring in-depth interviews with EDF experts whose groundbreaking work is powered by your ongoing support.

Thanks for sticking with us,
