2025 Scorecards: New Distribution Method Now Live

Following communications sent to NHS Trusts in August, NHS Resolution has successfully transitioned to this improved distribution method for 2025. The 2025 Scorecards are now being distributed directly via secure email to Trust contacts, replacing our previous extranet-based system. Update on the Submit a Perinatal Event Notification (SPEN) Portal

NHS England has introduced a nationwide improvement for qualifying perinatal event notifications, the SPEN portal. This system replaces the separate reporting platforms used by NHSR’s Early Notification scheme, MNSI, and MBRRACE-UK. SPEN is being rolled out in phases between 3 September and early November 2025.
