Dear John,

On October 14th, join WE ACT and environmental justice advocates from across the country at our 2025 gala to honor environmental justice champions and celebrate our movement's achievements. You can get your tickets for the gala which will be at the beautiful and historic ballroom of 583 Park Avenue, from 6:00-9:00 pm.

This year we are thrilled to honor Abigail Dillen, President of Earthjustice

Abigail Dillen is the President of Earthjustice, the world’s largest nonprofit public interest environmental law organization, and Earthjustice Action, which is focused on securing fair courts and strong environmental laws. She leads over 625 staff in harnessing the power of law to protect the environment and people’s health in the U.S. and internationally. She joined Earthjustice in 2000, where she founded and served as Managing Attorney of its coal program, helping to back coal out of the U.S. power mix. She later became the organization’s first Vice President of Litigation for Climate and Energy, leading litigation and advocacy to drive the shift to a clean energy economy. Her work reflects her belief that lawyers have an essential role in creating a safer, more just world on a healing planet.

Earthjustice is one of WE ACT’s partners in our litigation against the EPA for terminating grants to environmental justice organizations across our region. WE ACT is grateful for the hard work of Abi Dillen and our friends at Earthjustice to fight and win environmental protections across the globe. We hope you can join us on Tuesday, October 14th to celebrate Abi and our other honorees. You can purchase your tickets here.

Please join us in celebrating with friends and longtime partners who've helped us achieve so much.

Best,
