John,
The government has shut down. Millions of Americans are at risk — and the
reason is clear: Republicans chose politics over people.
Instead of working to lower costs, protect healthcare, and find solutions,
Republicans are trying to let Affordable Care Act subsidies expire at the
end of the year — a move that could drive up healthcare costs for millions
of Americans who rely on this coverage.
This adds to the cuts Trump and the GOP pushed through this summer in
their so-called ‘One Big Beautiful Bill,’ which gutted $1 trillion from
Medicaid, Medicare, SNAP, and other federal health programs.
When their plan started to fall apart, Republicans chose to double down
rather than work for Americans.
This isn’t just a political standoff — it’s real people losing health
coverage, paychecks, and stability. Families can’t wait. Federal workers
can’t wait. People relying on healthcare cannot wait while Republicans
play games with their lives and livelihoods.
The Squad is fighting back. We’re standing up for the people, not the
powerful. We’re working to protect healthcare, paychecks, and fundamental
freedoms. And we need your help.
[ [link removed] ]We can’t let this moment pass without action. Chip in $3
to help the Squad keep standing up to Republicans’ attacks and defending
the people, not the powerful.
