Hi Big,
Donald Trump and Congressional Republicans just shut down the federal government, and Pennsylvanians will pay the price.
After voting to gut Medicaid and threaten our rural hospitals, Republicans are now forcing a shutdown that could cause 500,000 Pennsylvanians on the ACA marketplace to see their health care premiums skyrocket. Working families are being used as political hostages in Trump’s reckless power game.
This is the disastrous Republican agenda in action. Pennsylvania Republicans like Stacy Garrity and Doug Mastriano are marching in lockstep with Trump, selling out our families and making it even harder for people to get by.
Meanwhile, Democrats are doing everything possible to support Pennsylvanians through this manufactured crisis. Governor Shapiro has made it clear that the Commonwealth will be prepared, and his Administration is doing everything possible to deal with this shutdown and support the people of Pennsylvania.
Let’s send a clear message: Pennsylvania won’t stand for shutdowns and sellouts. We will continue fighting to defend health care, protect working families, and put people ahead of political games.
