News from Congresswoman Kim

Dear Friend,

As you may know, federal government funding for Fiscal Year 2025 ran out yesterday, causing a shutdown of the federal government.

I recently voted for a clean, bipartisan short-term government funding bill to keep our government open and serving the American people. However, Washington democrats voted multiple times to block that bill, causing the federal government to run out of funding and shutdown.

I believe shutting down the government achieves nothing. It costs taxpayer dollars and causes our military service members, border patrol, air traffic controllers, and other federal employees who keep our country running to go without a paycheck.

I have also asked that my salary be withheld until the government reopens, and I will continue to work around the clock to serve you.

During this time, my team and I are committed to serving you.

If I can help you in any way, my offices in Washington D.C., Anaheim Hills, and Mission Viejo remain open.

Additionally, if you have a question regarding casework with a federal agency, you can reach out to my office by visiting my website at youngkim.house.gov or by calling (714) 984-2440 or (202) 225-4111.

Receive real-time updates on my work for you by signing up for my e-newsletter and following me on social media on Facebook, X, Instagram, and YouTube at @RepYoungKim.

Sincerely,
