Protecting Patients: How Washington’s Department of Health Works to Make Sure You Get Safe, Quality Care

When you seek medical care, it’s important to know you can trust your provider. That’s why oversight matters. The Washington State Department of Health (DOH) works behind the scenes to help ensure health care professionals meet the required qualifications to practice and also uphold safety and ethical standards.
