Friend, despite holding the House, the Senate, and the White House, Donald Trump and the Republican Party failed to pass a budget bill through Congress in time to prevent a government shutdown.

And it gets worse: Instead of working to prevent a shutdown, House Republicans cancelled votes and skipped town — over a week before last night’s funding deadline.
