in a defiant, explosive stand seen by millions, Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert

Colbert and Kimmel join each others shows. Sign the petition to save The Late Show with Stephen Colbert

Last night, in a defiant, explosive stand seen by millions, Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert joined each other’s shows and unleashed at Trump’s attacks on free speech.

Kimmel: "That son of a b****!"

Colbert: "That’s Mister son of a b****!"

Kimmel: "I never imagined we'd have a president like this—and I hope we never have one again."

Talking about CBS and Paramount, Colbert said: "It’s their ball, they can take it home if they want."

It was a sharp reminder: CBS and Paramount still have a choice. They can fight for free speech and against Trump’s attacks. Stephen even opened the door when he asked: "CBS, you want to announce anything?"

Click here to sign the petition and tell CBS/Paramount: Reverse your decision, fight for free speech, and SAVE THE LATE SHOW WITH STEPHEN COLBERT.

We're in this because this is about more than comedy – it's about an authoritarian president attacking our First Amendment rights to silence dissent. It's unacceptable.

Thanks for being with us in this fight.
