Yesterday, a devastating 6.9 magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Cebu, Philippines. Hospitals in the worst-hit areas are overwhelmed and struggling to manage the influx of patients. Critical infrastructure including power grids, roads and bridges has been severely damaged, hampering relief operations. At least 69 people are confirmed dead and more than 150 were injured as of the latest reports.
