We expect this from Republicans, but Democrats are supposed to care
about the working class

Friends,

Frank Pallone gave billions of dollars in taxpayer money to the
nation’s wealthiest hospitals
[[link removed]]
through his work on the CARES Act. Many of the recipient hospitals
proceeded to furlough workers while maintaining CEO pay
[[link removed]].

CONGRESSMAN PALLONE HAS, ONCE AGAIN, PUT THE INTERESTS OF HIS
CORPORATE DONORS OVER THOSE OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE. I FIND HIS
LEGISLATION DESPICABLE, ESPECIALLY COMING FROM A DEMOCRAT. WE ALL
EXPECT REPUBLICANS TO IGNORE THE WORKING CLASS OF THIS COUNTRY, BUT TO
SEE SUPPOSED LEADERS OF OUR PARTY PRODUCE SUCH DAMAGING LEGISLATION IS
TRULY DISHEARTENING. REP. PALLONE HAS RECEIVED OVER $6.5 MILLION
THROUGHOUT HIS CAREER FROM THE HEALTHCARE AND PHARMACEUTICAL
INDUSTRIES.

This is the perfect example of why we need campaign finance reform.
Washington is corrupted by Super PACs, lobbyists, and corporate
contributions.

It’s time for publicly funded elections that disallow all
participation by special interest groups. DEMOCRACY MUST BE FOR THE
PEOPLE, NOT FOR CORPORATIONS.

I’m asking you today to stand up and tell Frank Pallone that you
think the American people deserve a bailout during this health
pandemic instead of hospitals that are using it to lay off employees
and give their CEOs fat checks. Click here to donate to our campaign
and support a Universal Basic Income for American families during this
pandemic.

Earlier this year, our campaign was endorsed by presidential candidate
Andrew Yang. He endorsed us because we support a Universal Basic
Income that we believe is the answer to helping families through
COVID-19.

We cannot continue to bail out Wall Street and never give a helping
hand to Main Street.

Frank Pallone doesn’t agree. He will continue to stand on the side
of his donors, and the American people will suffer because of it.

Corruption is a scourge on this country, and it will take all of us
standing together in order to overcome it. One way to do this is help
elect candidates that are committed to standing up against political
corruption.

Donate now and say you support helping families through this health
pandemic with a Universal Basic Income.

We can do something about political corruption, but we have to do it
together.

In Solidarity,

Andrew Yang and the Progressive Democrats of NJ endorsed our movement
against a 32-year incumbent who has failed to reform the system,
instead offering stale policy proposals that maintain the status quo.
So if you like the direction our country is heading, by all means
support my opponent—he helped get us here. But if you think it’s
time for change, for a new direction and a new deal, then I guarantee
I am the better Democrat for the job.
