It’s not the kids in rural Kentucky who are suffering. It’s the kids in
Louisville and Lexington, in our cities’ poorest neighborhoods, where only 30%
are reading at grade level. The rest?Heartbreakingly, they’re being left behind.



Every time we fight for school choice, so parents can rescue their kids from
failing schools, who stands in the way? Teachers’ unions that are propped up by
the Democrats. They say “no choice, no options”—just the same FAILED schools,
decade after decade!

Let me be clear: There is potential in EVERY child.



I’ve seen it. I've visited the Boys’ Latin School in Philadelphia. In a
neighborhood where just 10% of kids graduate, 99 out of 100 boys at this
charter school DO graduate, and go on to college! These young men are living
proof that with school choice, success is possible, no matter where you come
from.



But the unions and their Democrat allies would rather warehouse and abandon
another generation than give parents power.

I refuse to back down. But I can’t do it alone. Will you chip in what you can
to stand with me and fight for every child in every community to have a shot at
the best education possible?
