Instead of protecting health care for millions of Americans, Republicans just shut down the federal government. 

Congressional Republicans are refusing to extend health care tax credits currently set to expire, which will cause people to see massive spikes in their health care costs — or kick them off their coverage altogether.

EMILYs List women in Congress have been working hard to protect health care for millions of Americans. House Republicans refuse to show up, negotiate, and do their jobs.

It's never been more clear that in order to reinstate a functional federal government that works for the American people and provides them with the services they need, we've got to take back power and flip the House next November. Electing Democratic pro-choice women is how we do just that.
