Right now, the Sumud Flotilla is a few nautical miles away from Gaza, carrying doctors, journalists, politicians, and activists - all risking their lives to break Israel’s illegal siege on Gaza and deliver desperately needed humanitarian aid.

But Israel is gearing up to intercept them. Several boats reported an Israeli navy ship circling around the fleet, drones overhead, and communications jammed. These are deliberate attempts to silence and stop a peaceful humanitarian mission.

Despite the danger, the flotilla sails on with more than 1,000 volunteers from 44 countries across Europe, Australia, Africa, and Latin America, making it the largest civilian-led convoy of its kind in recent history.

The United Nations commission of inquiry has ruled that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza.
