The federal government is in a shutdown right now.
That means healthcare and benefits for seniors, veterans, and families here in the North Country are all at risk.
I’m tired of the dysfunction in Washington. Elise Stefanik and Republicans hold all the power. They have the presidency, the House, and the Senate – but they still can’t come to an agreement on a funding bill to keep the government running and keep money in our pockets. Instead, they’re too busy fighting and putting the blame on one another, while everyday people get screwed over.
