Celebrate fall and learn outdoor skills!
 Fall brings more opportunities to get outside and enjoy everything Maine has to offer. Connect with nature and learn about the diverse wildlife across the state with a fall hunting workshop. It's a great way to learn a new activity, sharpen your skills, and prepare for the fall hunting seasons.
Date/Time: Sunday, October 5, 2025 from 8:30am - 4:30pm
Location: Camp Beech Cliff, Mount Desert, ME
Participants will have an opportunity register for a morning and afternoon session to learn:
- Learn to Hunt
- Intro to Fly Fishing
- Reading the Forested Landscape
- Beneath the Surface: Exploring Lake Ecology
- Survive and Thrive: Intro to Bushcraft
- Intro to Archery and Bowhunting Skills
- Tools and Tricks for the Budding Naturalist: Fungi, Trees, and Wildlife

Date/Time: Tuesday, October 07, 2025 from 9am-2pm Location: Monmouth - Monmouth Fish & Game
This is an entry level shotgun class and is ideal for those with little or no shotgun experience. You will learn safe firearms handling, shotgun types, and selecting choke and ammunition for different game species.

Join us for an exciting hand-on program to discover the art of upland bird hunting. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, this is the perfect opportunity to enhance your hunting skills and connect with other hunters.

This workshop will be a combination of hands-on demonstration and field practice led by experienced hunters. You will learn how to scout and find a place to hunt, methods, equipment, and hunting regulations.
