DDCS Waiver Redesign Webpage

The Developmental Disabilities Community Services Division has posted the Waiver Redesign Project web page [ [link removed] ] to provide information and updates about the Waiver Redesign Project. This project aims to make the waiver service system better and aligns DDCS with the Department of Social and Health Services’ mission to partner with people to access support, care, and resources.

On the Waiver Redesign Project web page, community members will find information and resources about the project, including theMedicaid 1915 (c) Waiver Restructure report to the legislature. [ [link removed] ] The recommendations in the Waiver Restructure Report came from feedback we received from waiver participants, their families, DDCS staff, and community partners. We are in process of determining what is possible and will continue to update the waiver redesign web page with new information about the ongoing project as it unfolds.

The redesign webpage also provides opportunities for people to share feedback. We will pose questions that can be answered by emailing our waiver redesign inbox, and we will also be posting our first survey soon. Our first question is about people who need support with personal care while accessing waiver services in their community:
