On Monday, the President’s Religious Liberty Commission (RLC) met for the third time, and First Liberty once again played a major role in the direction and content of the meeting.
Commission members heard testimony from First Liberty attorney Keisha Russell and clients Coach Joe Kennedy and Connecticut schoolteacher Marisol Arroyo-Castro.
Watch this video update from Washington D.C. to get all the details and critical take-aways from this meeting.

Most Americans, along with most members of the RLC, don’t know about the religious discrimination our clients have faced.
They also don’t understand what our clients go through when they decide to stand their ground and fight back. It can be an emotional and spiritual rollercoaster.
But as Coach Joe said, “It is so worth it.”
I am very thankful that people all over the nation are getting to hear directly from First Liberty’s clients and are learning firsthand what religious discrimination looks like.
John, this wouldn’t be happening without you.
Your prayers and support have not only made our participation in the Religious Liberty Commission possible but also our ongoing legal fights and Supreme Court wins that are expanding religious freedom all across America.
The RLC only has 8 months left to hear testimony and develop recommendations that will fully restore religious freedom throughout our nation.
And we need your help to make sure we get it right. Right now, you can:
- Pray for wisdom and success as the RLC works to secure the future of religious freedom for our children and grandchildren.
- Continue to support First Liberty, our clients and our expert legal team as they fight to protect your right to live out your faith.
We are thankful for you. You are truly making a difference in securing the future of religious freedom in your community, state and our nation.
Grateful for you,
Kelly
