I just wanted to say thank you.

I launched this campaign just three weeks ago — and last night, we closed
the books on our first fundraising deadline.

With the help of over 100,000 small dollar donors, we shattered our
fundraising goal for the quarter and passed the first major test of the
campaign.



I couldn’t be prouder of this team.

To the thousands of folks who’ve signed up to volunteer; to everyone who’s
shown up in community at our rallies across the state; to those who’ve
contributed to fuel this movement: I couldn’t be more grateful.

I’ve been overwhelmed by the outpouring of support every day.

What we’ve already accomplished has far surpassed my wildest expectations
for this campaign.

I didn’t have the advantages of a prior statewide campaign, or the backing
of the DC establishment and DC super PACs, or a rolodex full of
billionaire mega-donors.

But this movement has something far more powerful.

The people.

You are the backbone of this campaign.

I’m really proud of what we’re building here. I hope you are, too.

We’re funding this campaign with contributions from the people. Not a dime
from corporate PACs.

There’s plenty of hard work ahead. But I’m optimistic.

Something is happening. Something special.
