This summer, Republicans created a national health care crisis.

And now, they've shut down the government. Republicans have refused to come to the table. Instead of working with Democrats on a bipartisan spending bill to avoid a government shutdown, they've doubled down—they'd rather let their own communities suffer than fix the health care crisis they created by gutting Medicaid and defunding Planned Parenthood.

Republicans are making life harder for everyday people—their cuts to Medicaid, refusals to extend the Affordable Care Act (ACA) tax credits, and more are making health care more expensive and less accessible for millions of people.
