One of my earliest campaign memories is sitting at a small folding card table in a headquarters with a Fisher-Price phone in my hand.

I was six, and my mom, who was then managing Paul McEachern’s run for governor, gave me a small receipt box of notecards so I could “make calls” too.

While she was running the campaign, I was right beside her, “helping phone bank.”

That moment stuck with me because I saw up close what it means to show up, do the work, and believe in something bigger than any one of us.

That’s the spirit of this campaign. We’re in this together: calling voters, meeting in living rooms and backyards to engage in conversations that build a movement.
